Eliot Porter used to be one of the Sierra Club's favorite poster boys [another was Ansel Adams]; his large-format color landscapes could be found on the covers of any number of their publications [of course, many of those publications were monographs of Porter's pictures]. Here is an earlier landscape, in black & white. KB
